Creating a task linked to a checklist result in Assurance

This article provides step-by-step instructions on linking a task to a checklist result.
1. Linking a task to a checklist result
Once you have completed the checklist, follow these steps link a task:
1. Select Checklists from the navigation menu.
2. Select Checklist Results in the dropdown menu that appears.
3. Locate the relevant Checklist Result.
4. Select the ellipsis icon next to the relevant Checklist Result.
5. Select View Result from the dropdown menu.
6. Select the Tasks tab to view all linked tasks.
7. To link a new task, select the plus button. This will open a Add Links modal.
2. Creating a new task and linking it to the checklist result
To create a new task and link it to the checklist result:
1. Select Create a New Task
2. Fill in at minimum the fields that are marked with an asterisk. You may also wish to provide a description of what needs to be completed in the Description field.
3. Select the Create and Assign button at the bottom of the window. This will reveal a new window.
4. Fill in, at minimum, the Person Responsible (the Business Unit will auto-fill based on the Person Responsible) and the Due Date.
5. Select Save at the bottom of the window (you may need to scroll to the bottom of the window).
The task will now show up on the To Do list of the Person Responsible for 30 days prior to its due date. It will also show up in the ‘Task’ tab for that particular Checklist result.
