What is the Difference between an Expiry Date and a Due Date in CompliLearn?
Due dates are different to Expiry dates in CompliLearn, in fact you will not need to use the Expiry Date function at all in CompliLearn
Due dates are set to provide a learner or a group with a date as to when they must complete the assigned learning. Due dates in CompliLearn can be managed and updated in a few different ways, to learn more about these methods please visit this guide.
Expiry dates are a function made available by GO1 (the host of CompliLearn). They are used to keep track of awards that need to be completed on an annual basis. By adding an expiration date to an award, content administrators will be reminded to assign a new version of the award. For example if a person completes their CPR certification in 2023, they will still need to complete the course again in 2024, and every year moving forward, if they want to maintain their certification.
However, CompliLearn content administrators do not need to apply expiry dates to awards, as Ideagen Policy Logic completes an annual re-versioning of its courses, ensuring that your staff have the most up-to-date learning each year.
