Resending a Welcome Email
If a user fails to set up their account within a week of the creation date, the link in the email will expire and the user will not be able to log in. Rather than recreating the account, it is possible to re-send the welcome email with a fresh link directly from the user directory interface. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to resend an welcome email via the user directory.
How to Resend a Welcome Email:
1. Login to your user directory and locate your user within the table.
2. Click the button next to their name as shown below.
Important note: if the button is a lighter grey, that means that the user has already set their password up, so clicking this button will not do anything. If the user has forgotten the password, they will need to: Go to the User Directory login page >Click Forgot your password> Follow the prompts to reset their password.
3. If the action was performed successfully, you will receive a confirmation message.
4. The user will then receive an email similar to the one shown below. They will then need to follow the link and follow the instructions to complete their account set up.
