Completing a checklist in Assurance

You must be the person responsible to complete a checklist.
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to complete a checklist in Assurance.
1. How to start a checklist?
To start a checklist, follow the link in the checklist assignment notification email. From your To Do List, select on the Not Started status button next to the checklist. If returning to a previously started checklist, the status may display as in progress or similar.
2. How to answer a checklist?
2.1 Navigating between checklist tabs
Once you open a checklist, you can answer questions in the Questions tab. This page also displays any linked Reference Documents. Select on the Details tab to view the checklist description and other information.
2.2. Navigating between checklist sections
If the checklist is set up with sections, you can answer it section by section. To move to another section, select on the section name from the section dropdown menu.
2.3 Saving your completed answer
To save your answers, select on the Save and Next button. Once you completed the checklist, select on the Submit button. To save an incomplete checklist for later, select the Save for Later button.

Your answers won't be saved unless you select on the Save & Next or Save for Later button.
2.4 Adding notes to an answer
To add notes to a checklist answer, select on the speech bubble icon beneath the question. Multiple notes can be created and added to any checklist answer.
2.5 Adding evidence to an answer
To add evidence to a checklist answer, select on the paperclip icon beneath the question. You can upload evidence as an attachment, hyperlink, or link to an existing attachment. All uploaded evidence can be found in the Attachments tab when viewing a Checklist Result.
3. What happens once a checklist is completed?
Once the checklist is complete, Assurance will notify other person responsible of the status update. The updater will not receive this email.
