How to Set Up Microsoft Teams or Slack Conditional Notifications in Assurance
Assurance can connect to a Microsoft Teams Channel or Slack to send conditional notifications from a Registers and Forms template.

To set up this integration, contact our support team to enable the relevant addon in your Assurance site. The Microsoft Teams or Slack addon must be switched on before you will be able to set it up.
1. Setting Up the Microsoft Teams or Slack Integration
Follow these steps once the integration has been switched on:
1. Select the Administration Gearwheel and then select the Integration button under the General section.
2. Select on the MS Teams button.
3. Select on the + Create MS Teams button and a New MS Teams pop-up will appear.
4. Name your integration and enter the Webhook URL from your Microsoft Teams Channel.

To learn more, refer to the Microsoft Teams Developer documentation on Create Incoming Webhooks (you will be taken to a Microsoft Learn site).
5. Once you have selected on the blue Create button, the Details screen and a message on top will appear informing that you have successfully updated MS Teams.
6. Select on the green Activate button to activate the integration.
2. Sending Conditional Notifications to Microsoft Teams or Slack
1. Select Message as the Notification Type for your Conditional Notification.
2. Customise the body of the Microsoft Teams or Slack message and any other settings as required to finalise the setup.
