Course Author

• Abilities are restricted to course(s) they are author of

• Edit content and settings

• Report on the progress of each user

• Mark all submissions for all users

• Add/remove authors and assessors

• Mark attendance to events

Course Assessor 

• Abilities are restricted to course(s) they are assessor of

• Mark attendance at events

• Mark assignments or long answer questions

• Report on user activity through the course

• If a course only has one assessor, they will be responsible for all assessments.

• If a course has more than one assessor, users must be assigned to one of the assessors.

How to Assign an Assessor to Users in a Course

1. Go to the course page 

2. Click Reports

3. Filter the report as required or individually select the check-boxes next to the users to be assigned to an assessor

4. Select the three-dot button that appears on the toolbar above the table

5. Select +Assign assessor.

How to See Pending Assessments

1. Go to My Teaching

2. Click Assessments

3. Click All pending assessments to see assessments not specifically assigned to you.
