Setting up content using the Tools panel
Who is this article for?
Administrators who want to learn to set up their content using the tools panel.
Administration access is required.
You can customise your content directly in the system using set-up questions, which help you tailor each module to reflect how your organisation works.
1. Opening the module
To begin customising your module, follow these steps:
- Go to the module you want to set up.
- Navigate to the Executive Summary page (or the first page in the module).
This gives you an overview before you start making updates.
2. Opening the Tools Panel
To access the Set-Up Questions, follow these steps:
- Select the Tools Panel.
The Set-Up Questions for the page you are on will appear. These questions appear in the correct order automatically, based on your previous answers, so you can work from top to bottom.
3. Completing the required set-up questions
To focus on questions that still need attention, follow these steps:
- Apply the Required filter in the Tools Panel.
- Apply the Incomplete filter.
This will hide questions you have already finished, so you can work efficiently through the important items first.
When you are ready, you may remove the filter or switch to Optional to review extra customisation options.
4. Continuing through the module
To progress through the module, follow these steps:
- Complete the set-up questions on the current page.
- Select Next to move to the next page in the module.
- Repeat this process until all pages are complete.
You can stop and return later — your answers are saved as you go.
5. Reviewing and finalising
Once you complete all set-up questions:
- Review your tailored content
- Make any final adjustments
- Publish or continue with your organisation's review and approval process
Tip: The Tools Panel now answers variables automatically. Use Optional Set-Up Questions for more flexibility and customisation. Re-open the Tools Panel anytime to update your content in future releases.
