Post-migration guide for tenant administrators

Following your migration to Ideagen Hub, your users, their product access, and their permissions have been carried across automatically. However, User Group and Secure Module assignments within PolicyConnect are not migrated and will need to be reassigned manually.

This guide walks you through how to reassign these directly within PolicyConnect.

What you’ll be reassigning

For each affected user, you will need to reassign:

• User Groups — your organisation’s own secure groups that control access to specific content
• Secure Modules — Ideagen-defined modules the user should have access to (e.g. Human Resources, WHS)

Steps

1. Log in to PolicyConnect and select the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner of the screen.

2. From the left-hand menu, select User Management.

3. The User Management screen displays all users. Locate the users who need to be reassigned to a User Group or Secure Module.

4. Click Edit next to the user you want to update.

    

5. In the Edit User panel, under Access & Permissions, update the following as needed:

• User Groups — select the group(s) this user should belong to using the dropdown
• Secure Modules — select the Ideagen module(s) this user should have access to using the dropdown

6. Click Save to confirm the changes.
