Setting your password for Ideagen Login

Users accessing Ideagen products for the first time via the Ideagen Login screen.
An email address registered with Ideagen is required.
This tutorial guides you through setting your password securely the first time you go to login via the Ideagen Login screen.
You will learn how to use the password reset process to establish your initial login credentials.
Setting your password
On the new Ideagen Login screen, click the Forgot your password button to set up a new password for first-time access.

Click the Username field to begin the password reset process. Your Username is your email address and is most commonly all lowercase letters.

Click the Reset my password button to proceed.

Check your inbox for an email with the subject Your verification code.

Enter your password reset code to verify your identity and continue the process.

Click the New password field to start entering your new password.

Review the password requirements section for the valid password criteria.

Enter your new password again to confirm it matches the first entry.

Click the Change password button to finalize your password reset and update your account.

You will now be able to login using your email address and newly set password.

What if I get an error?
If you enter your email address and see the message "Could not reset password for the account, please contact support or try again":
- try using all lower case
- try capitalising the first letter of any names used (if that fits)
