How to Request Credentials from an Entity or Contact in Assurance

This article provides instructions for requesting credentials from an Entity (Contractor or Service Provider) using a Cleaning Contract as an example.
1. How to send a credential renewal request as a batch email?
1. Navigate to the Contract Register.
2. Select the Key to the relevant contract (e.g. Cleaning Contract).
3. Select on the Credentials tab.
4. Select the credentials you would like to request by selecting the box next to the Eligibility Criteria or if you would like to select all the criteria select the box above the Entity or Service Provider.
5. Select the Request Credentials button.
6. A pop-up box will appear. Enter the completion date for the credential request and select the Create button to request the credentials.
7. The linked Contact Person (designated administrator for the Entity or Service Provider) will receive a renewal request as part of their reminder notifications that are batched and sent overnight, with a link to upload their credentials and complete the credentials details and renewal date (if required).
No linked contact person?
If the contract does not have a linked Contact Person or if they do not have an email address, the credential renewal request will be sent to the Entity's email address. If the Entity and the linked Contact Person does not have an email address, the credential renewal request will be sent to the Super Users of your site for attention.
8. To share the credential renewal request via text message, copy the Request URL and paste it into your desired instant messaging platform. They can use the credential renewal link to upload their credentials and complete the credential details and renewal date (if required).
9. After submitting their credentials, the Entity or Service Provider will receive a receipt that can be exported as a PDF (if required).
10. To view outstanding credential requests, select the View Credential Requests button.
