How to Send a Credential Renewal Request Immediately in Assurance

With the Notify Requestee feature, you can send an immediate email to the Entity or Service Provider when you require a credential to be updated.
1. How to send a credential renewal request as an immediate email?
To send an immediate email for credential renewal, follow these steps and requirements:
1. Ensure there is a linked Entity or Service Provider, and it is set up with an email address under the Details tab of the Register & Form. Select on the blue hyperlink text under Entity Name to check if there is an associated email address.
2. Select on the Credentials tab to find the credential due for renewal.
3. Select the box next to an Eligibility Criteria. Once selected, a Request Credentials button will appear. Select the Request Credentials button.
4. A pop-up box will appear. Enter the completion date for the credential request and select the Create button to request the credentials.
5. The newly created Credential Request will be displayed on screen. Select the View Credential Requests button.
6. On the Credential Request screen, select the Notify Requestee button under the Notify column to send an immediate email to the Entity or Service Provider. Once you select this button, you will see a Notification Queued message. The notification will be sent immediately, once it has been processed.
7. The Entity Contact Person will receive an immediate notification, where they can upload the new credentials and enter the new renewal date and credential details (if required).
8. Once all the mandatory fields are completed, the Submit button will be available to select.
9. Once submitted, a success confirmation will appear. There is an opportunity to export the submission to PDF.
10. In Assurance, the updated credential will be displayed. The Person Responsible of the Register & Form may review it by selecting Review Credential.
11. The Person Responsible will need to approve or reject the updated credential.
12. Once approved, the uploaded credential will be updated as current.
