FAQs - CompliLearn Rebrand and Platform Updates
Branding Changes
Q: What's happening with CompliLearn's branding?
A: As part of Ideagen's rebranding from Ideagen Policy Logic to Ideagen Policy Logic, we're updating the visual branding elements on CompliLearn (dashboard home button and left-side login page image) on Wednesday 29 October 2025. The CompliLearn name for your LMS product remains unchanged.
|
Q: Will my custom branding elements be affected? A: Yes, if you've made custom updates to the left-side login page image, these will be reset on Wednesday 29 October 2025 (in the morning). We recommend saving any custom images you wish to reinstate for after this date as we cannot recover these for you. To reinstate custom images after the update, please log a ticket with our Support Team or speak to your Success Manager. |
|
Q: Will the URL/web address for accessing CompliLearn change? A: No. Your CompliLearn site URL will remain exactly the same. You'll continue to access your learning platform using the same web address you've always used. |
Q: Are these two changes related?
A: No, these are separate updates. The branding updates are part of Ideagen's corporate rebranding to Ideagen Policy Logic, while the Go1 Learn platform enhancement is Go1's initiative to improve the learner experience.
Go1 Platform Enhancement
Q: Who will be affected by the Go1 platform change? A: This first phase affects the learner experience only. Content Admins retain full access to the original interface for all administration tasks.
Q: Will the Go1 enhancement change what learning content I have access to?
A: This depends on how you use your portal. For most customers, you will continue to have access to exactly the same learning content through your purchased Content Modules and Premium Learning Modules. The upgrade only changes the interface, not your content entitlements.
However, if you are sharing your own learning items via the Learning Item's Visibility and Access menu to other CompliLearn portals, this content will not show on the new Go1 Learn home page or search. Content Admins will need to assign these courses to learners, and by doing so, this learning will then appear for the Learner in the 'Assigned' block and 'My Learning' page to complete. Go1 is currently working on this feature and full functionality should return at the beginning of 2026.
|
Q: What about Content Admins - can they still manage users and assignments after the Go1 update? A: Yes, Content Admins have complete flexibility. They can toggle between the new Go1 Learn interface and the familiar original interface for all administration needs including user setup, learning assignments, enrolment reporting, and other admin functions. |
Q: When will the Go1 transition happen?
A: The enhanced learner interface will go live on Wednesday 29 October 2025. Learners will automatically see Go1Learn, while Content Admins can choose which interface to use.
Q: Will I lose my learning history or progress?
A: No. All your completed courses, certificates, progress, and learning records will transfer seamlessly to the enhanced interface.
|
Q: What other changes are happening with the Go1Learn platform enhancement? A: In addition to the new learner interface, two features will be affected:
|
Q: What is user masquerading and why is it changing?
A: User masquerading allows certain admin users to log in and view the platform as if they were a different user. This capability will no longer be available for some admin users as part of the Go1Learn transition. This change is part of Go1's enhanced security and user experience improvements.
Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare for the Go1 Learn enhancement?
A: Learners: Nothing at all. The transition is automatic and you'll use the same login credentials.
Content Admins: You'll have the option to explore the new interface or continue using the original admin interface as needed.
|
Q: Where can I find help and support documentation after the Go1Learn transition? A: We will keep any help articles specific to the way CompliLearn works for our customers. For all other platform help and feature guidance, we recommend reviewing the articles at the Go1 Help Centre, which are being updated as new features in the Go1 Learn interface are launched. |
