- We will send you a new login link by email to do this – but will give you notice so you know it is not a phishing email
- We are releasing Mazlan Home in stages, so look out for an email or in product message with your exact switch date
What changes
- Your login experience: You will access Ideagen Policy Logic Products through Mazlan Home using single sign-on
- Password reset required: You will need to reset your password when you first log in to Mazlan Home
- Unified access: One login connects you to all your Ideagen products and Luminate support

However, if in doubt, access your product by your usual means and you will be directed to change your password from there.

Single Sign-On questions
Q: How does Single Sign-On (SSO) work with Mazlan Home (formerly known as Ideagen Mazlan Home)?
A: Ideagen handles authentication at the Mazlan Home level. Once you are authenticated through Mazlan Home, you have seamless access to all your integrated Ideagen products - true single sign-on that eliminates friction and accelerates your workflow. If you are an IT administrator, visit the Mazlan Home SSO help page to learn how to configure SSO in Mazlan Home.
Q: I use SSO (Entra ID, Google, Okta, etc.) - what changes for me?
A: Your SSO will continue to work. However, your IT team will need to update your SSO configuration after your Mazlan Home site has been created. Your authentication will route through Mazlan Home, but you will still use your existing SSO provider (e.g. Entra ID, Google, Okta, etc.). If you are an IT administrator, visit the Mazlan Home SSO help page to learn how to configure SSO in Mazlan Home.
Q: Will my SSO still work?
A: Yes, SSO will continue to work. It will route through Mazlan Home but still use your existing identity provider. Your IT administrator will need to update the configuration with the new Mazlan Home URL, Identifier and Reply URL. If you are an IT administrator, visit the Mazlan Home SSO help page to learn how to configure SSO in Mazlan Home.
Q: If I use my organisation's SSO identity provider to access Ideagen Policy Logic, will I need to reset my password?
A: No. Once your IT team has configured SSO in Mazlan Home, you can continue using your organisation's SSO identity provider to access your Ideagen products. If you are an IT administrator, visit the Mazlan Home SSO help page to learn how to configure SSO in Mazlan Home.
Single Sign-On questions - IT administrator
Q: I am an IT administrator. Do I need to reconfigure SSO in Mazlan Home (formerly known as Ideagen Mazlan Home)? What is the new Mazlan Home URL I need to configure in my SSO provider?
A: Yes, you will need to create a new enterprise application in your identity provider and reconfigure SSO in Mazlan Home. Any previously created CompliSpace enterprise applications or application-specific security groups (e.g. PolicyConnect User or PolicyConnect Administrator) may be retired after the Ideagen SSO has been configured and tested in Mazlan Home. The Mazlan Home URL is unique to each customer and will be sent to you after your Mazlan Home site has been created.
Q: I am an IT administrator. What do I need to do to configure SSO in Mazlan Home?
A: If you are an IT administrator, visit the Mazlan Home SSO help page to learn how to configure SSO in Mazlan Home. Once configured, we would invite you to test with a couple of additional user accounts by converting them to External authentication. We also suggest keeping at least one account (including the Assurance Support account) configured for internal authentication (username and password). This provides a fallback option so you can still access the Mazlan Home if you need to troubleshoot any future SSO issues.
Q: I am an IT administrator. I have configured SSO, but users still cannot log in. What should I check first?
A: Two things resolve most cases:
- Confirm the user's Authentication Type in Mazlan Home is set to External (not Internal). A mismatch here is the most common cause of login failures.
- Confirm the attribute your Identity Provider is sending (email or username) matches exactly what is stored against that user in Mazlan Home.
Q: I am an IT administrator. I am seeing an error like "PreSignUp failed" or "external user does not exist". What does this mean?
A: This means Mazlan Home could not match the identity your IdP sent to an existing user record. It is almost always one of:
- The email/username attribute sent by your IdP does not match what is in Mazlan Home, or
- The user's Authentication Type is set to Internal when it needs to be External for SSO.
Confirm both then retest.
Q: I am an IT administrator. My IdP setup does not show an option for "Relay State" or "Sign SAML requests to this provider". Is something wrong?
A: No, this is expected. Relay State only applies to IDP-initiated sign-on. Similarly, "Sign SAML requests" is not available for every IdP (for example, it is not supported for Google Workspace). Its absence does not indicate a setup error.
Q: I am an IT administrator. Do I need to manually change each user's Authentication Type from Internal to External?
A: Yes, this is not automatic. Until a user's account is switched to External in Mazlan Home (either from Admin Console or via Import), they will continue to authenticate with their Ideagen email/password rather than through your SSO provider.
Q: The signing certificate I download from Mazlan Home has a .crt extension, but Microsoft Entra won't accept it (it wants .cer). What do I do?
A: This is a known quirk with Entra, not a genuine incompatibility. .crt and .cer files are functionally identical. Simply "Save As" and rename the downloaded file with a .cer extension, then upload that to Entra.
Q: The "Sign SAML requests to this provider" checkbox is not showing at all or it is greyed out. Why?
A: Two different causes:
- Not showing at all: your IdP configuration is set to accept IDP-initiated assertions, and this setting simply is not available in that mode.
- Greyed out: the IdP configuration was already saved previously, and once saved, these signing settings cannot be edited. The fix is to create a new IdP configuration with the correct settings, then delete the old one.
Q: Will user provisioning and deprovisioning happen through Mazlan Home automatically, or do we still manage it manually?
A: Today, adding and removing users in Mazlan Home needs to be done by a tenant administrator in Admin Console > User Management. It is not yet synced automatically from your own HR system or identity provider. Automatic provisioning via your IdP (SCIM) is in development but not yet available.
Q: I am an IT administrator. I am still experiencing SSO configuration issues.
A: Please refer to Troubleshooting single-sign on (SSO) issues with an external identity provider (IdP) for further guidance.
Assurance access and integration
Q: I am an administrator for Assurance, and I have been notified that my Assurance site has been connected to Mazlan Home (formerly known as Ideagen Mazlan Home). What do I need to do?
A: Mazlan Home will be the main way to access Assurance. During the familiarisation period, your users can still access Assurance using their existing email/password or the SSO login method (if applicable).
We encourage administrators to start using Mazlan Home to sign in. Look out for a welcome email from Mazlan Home.
After communicating this change to your team, administrators should send out welcome emails to their users so that they can access Mazlan Home as well.
Remember, to use SSO in Mazlan Home, your IT administrator will need to access Mazlan Home and configure SSO, but once that is done, you are all ready to go.
Q: Will I lose access to any features in Ideagen Assurance?
A: No, all your existing Ideagen Assurance features and functionality remain unchanged. Mazlan Home is your command centre - providing unified access to all your Ideagen solutions, integrated Luminate support, and AI-powered capabilities through Mazlan that predict, automate and recommend before you ask.
Q: What will look different after my connection to Mazlan Home?
A: Your login experience will look a little different as when you get to your Ideagen Assurance login page you will be directed to log in via Mazlan Home. Mazlan Home will be your main access point moving forward. However, if you do go to your Ideagen Assurance login page, this will still work, but it will prompt you to login via Mazlan Home first.
Q: If I use my email and password to access Ideagen Assurance, how will the login process change?
A: The Ideagen Assurance login screen will look slightly different. During the familiarisation period, you will see the existing email and password option along with the option to "Sign in using Mazlan Home." After entering your credentials through the Mazlan Home login screen, you will be authenticated and directed into Ideagen Assurance. The existing Ideagen Assurance email and password login will still work during the familiarisation period.
Q: If I use my organisation's SSO identity provider to access Ideagen Assurance, how will the login process change?
A: The Ideagen Assurance login screen will look slightly different. During the familiarisation period, you will see the existing SSO login option along with the option to "Sign in using Mazlan Home." After signing in using Mazlan Home, you will be authenticated and directed into Ideagen Assurance. The existing SSO login option will still work during the familiarisation period.
Q: How do I launch Ideagen Assurance from Mazlan Home?
A: After logging into Mazlan Home, you can easily launch Ideagen Assurance from "My apps".
Q: Will my existing Ideagen Assurance link still work after connecting to Mazlan Home?
A: Yes, your existing Ideagen Assurance link will continue to work. When you use them, you will be prompted to login through Mazlan Home and then redirected back to Ideagen Assurance.
Q: Can I still access Ideagen Assurance directly without going through Mazlan Home first?
A: Yes, you can still access Ideagen Assurance directly using your existing link. However, we recommend getting into the habit of accessing through Mazlan Home as it provides a central command centre for all your Ideagen solutions.
Q: Will my bookmarks/saved links still work?
A: Yes, your Ideagen Assurance login page will still work and will prompt you to login via Mazlan Home. However, as Mazlan Home will be your central access point for your solution moving forward we would recommend you update your bookmarks.
Q: What happens to my user preferences and settings in Ideagen Assurance?
A: Your user preferences and settings in Ideagen Assurance are not affected and remain exactly the same.
Q: Will my browser remember my login, or will I need to log in again?
A: Not when you initially log in, as we need all users to reset their passwords when logging into Mazlan Home for the first time. Your existing Ideagen Assurance password would not work after the familiarisation period.
Safe Trip Builder access and integration
Q: I am an administrator for Safe Trip Builder, and I have been notified that my Safe Trip Builder site has been connected to Mazlan Home (formerly known as Ideagen Mazlan Home). What do I need to do?
A: Mazlan Home will be the only way to access Safe Trip Builder from your go-live date. Unlike some other Ideagen products, there is no familiarisation period where the previous login screen remains available — all users must sign in through Mazlan Home from day one.
We recommend administrators begin by logging in to Mazlan Home using the welcome email sent to you. Once you're set up, you should send out welcome emails to all your users via the User Management features in Mazlan Home so they can access Safe Trip Builder through Mazlan Home as well.
If your organisation uses SSO, your IT administrator will need to configure SSO in Mazlan Home before users can authenticate that way.
Q: What user roles exist in Mazlan Home for Safe Trip Builder?
A: Safe Trip Builder users in Mazlan Home are assigned one of two roles:
- Tenant Administrator — should be reassigned to the client-admin role in Safe Trip Builder. Tenant Administrators can manage users, resend welcome emails, and configure Mazlan Home settings for your organisation.
- User — should be reassign to either the client-approver or client-user role in Safe Trip Builder, depending on the access level configured for that individual.
Your existing Safe Trip Builder roles and permissions would need to be reassigned. Please refer to this article for guidance: Reassigning Users to User Roles in Safe Trip Builder following Mazlan Home Migration
Q: Will I lose access to any features in Safe Trip Builder?
A: No, all your existing Safe Trip Builder features and functionality remain unchanged. Mazlan Home is your command centre - providing unified access to all your Ideagen solutions and integrated Luminate support.
Q: What will look different after my connection to Mazlan Home?
A: Your login experience will change. Safe Trip Builder is accessed entirely through Mazlan Home — the previous Safe Trip Builder login screen is no longer available. All users will sign in via Mazlan Home and be directed into Safe Trip Builder from there.
Q: If I use my email and password to access Safe Trip Builder, how will the login process change?
A: You will receive a welcome email from Mazlan Home prompting you to set a new password. Once you have done this, you will log in through the Mazlan Home login screen and be directed straight into Safe Trip Builder. The previous Safe Trip Builder email and password login is not available after go-live.
Q: If I use my organisation's SSO identity provider to access Safe Trip Builder, how will the login process change?
A: Your SSO login will route through Mazlan Home. Your IT administrator will need to configure SSO in Mazlan Home using the new Mazlan Home URL, Identifier and Reply URL. Once configured, your users can continue signing in using your existing SSO provider and will be directed into Safe Trip Builder seamlessly.
Q: How do I launch Safe Trip Builder from Mazlan Home?
A: After logging into Mazlan Home, you can easily launch Safe Trip Builder from "My apps".
Q: Will my existing Safe Trip Builder link still work after connecting to Mazlan Home?
A: Yes, your existing Safe Trip Builder link will continue to work. When you use it, you will be prompted to log in through Mazlan Home and then redirected into Safe Trip Builder.
Q: Can I still access Safe Trip Builder directly without going through Mazlan Home first?
A: No. Your existing link will redirect you through Mazlan Home for authentication before loading Safe Trip Builder. There is no standalone Safe Trip Builder login screen — Mazlan Home is the only authentication path.
Q: Will my bookmarks/saved links still work?
A: Yes, your existing Safe Trip Builder link will still work and will route you through Mazlan Home for login. That said, we recommend updating your bookmarks to point directly to Mazlan Home as your central access point.
Q: What happens to my user preferences and settings in Safe Trip Builder?
A: Your user preferences and settings in Safe Trip Builder are not affected and remain exactly the same.
Q: Will my browser remember my login, or will I need to log in again?
A: When you first log in to Mazlan Home, you will need to reset your password — your previous Safe Trip Builder password will not carry across. After that initial reset, your browser can remember your Mazlan Home login as normal.
